Fewer still share his deep knowledge of history to help map out where these shifts might take us.
And NONE have the ability to convey these insights with his searing wit and humor. Sigh. I wish he would just knock it off already!"

Welcome
Do you want to become a better, smarter, more accomplished investor?
For 35 years, I’ve lived and breathed finance in a series of major cities from New York to London, to Tokyo, Hong Kong, Singapore and Sydney.
During that time, I’ve continually sought to develop a better understanding of the global financial system, its nuances and its flaws, and to build a framework within which to invest successfully in both bull and bear markets.
I’ve learned countless lessons on that journey, from an extraordinary array of uncommon minds who’ve been gracious enough to share with me that which helped each of them become hugely successful at what they do.
After 2008, I set about trying to help broaden the understanding of what went wrong, and help educate people to make sure they avoided making the same mistakes again. Through my writing in Things That Make You Go Hmmm… and, latterly, through a series of conversations with a wide variety of successful investors and business leaders on Real Vision, I sought to share the lessons learned through both success and failure with an audience keen to learn and improve.
Now, I’m going to continue my search for principles, wisdom and authenticity in a world that, more than ever, seems to be sorely lacking in all three.
I’d love for you to join me on that journey.

The Grant Williams Podcast
In 2020, I stoked the fire of my passion for interviewing brilliant people by launching The Grant Williams Podcast. Alongside my own interviews, I added three additional streams, each with a fantastic co-host: The End Game (with Bill Fleckenstein), The Super Terrific Happy Hour (with Stephanie Pomboy), and The Narrative Game (with Dr. Ben Hunt).
The response has been overwhelming. In only 5 months, these interviews have been downloaded over 1 million times, placing this content squarely in the top 0.1% of podcasts offered in the vast marketplace.
